When I worked at a hair salon stylists wa...Awesome. When I worked at a hair salon stylists wanted you to only wash your hair about 2 maybe 3 times a week. Often when you go from washing everyday to less frequently you'll find you hair oily because your scalp is use to producing extra oils from the daily wash. I went nearly a week w/o washing my hair to try and "re-train" even so I couldn't only wash 2 or even 3 days a week. the powder is a great trick and so is some light weight product. the other suggestion is to simply wash with water as that will get rid of excess oild without stripping them from your hair.
